Quite a few of our members are interested in taking bikes abroad, but the idea of packing the bikes into a box for air travel seemed quite a challenge! This hands on workshop allowed us to try it out for real in the comfort of St Andrew’s Hall. We all managed to get the bikes in, and more importantly out, of the boxes.
More trips abroad will no doubt follow! In some destinations bike hire is not an option, or is more expensive, than taking your own bike. Or you might just like the confidence of knowing that you will have your own bike rather than a hire bike which may not suit you.
