In previous years the following events have attracted quite a YRCC following. It’s nice to ride with friends & see familiar faces on the route, if you’re entering a sportive or other event let us know and we’ll post it here.

Tour de Yorkshire Ride
Sunday 5th May 2019
This is your chance to ride many of the same roads as the pros before they do, including the pro finish line, complete with support from the waiting crowds. 123km, 78km or 50km routes.
Ride for Eric
Sunday 19th May 2019
The closed circuit track at Forge Valley provides a family friendly fun ride alongside other cycling activities. The Forge Valley event ‘Hub’ will be the start and finish of all rides: 5km, 25km, 50km & 100km.
Peak District Weekend Away
10-12th May 2019
A fun weekend of cycling, eating and drinking in the Peak District! Based at Moorside Farm bunkhouse near Buxton, with food and accommodation included and rides out into the White Peak and Staffordshire borders. YRCC club members only.
Lincoln Grand Prix Sportive
Saturday 11th May 2019
Cyclists will have the chance to enjoy a weekend-long cycling extravaganza when the Lincoln Festival of Cycling 2019 brings a host of sporting events to the city.
The Flat 100 (formerly called Flat & Fast)
Saturday 1st June 2019
The Flat 100 is possibly the flattest sportive in the country. 25, 65 or 100 miles.
Yorkshire Lass Sportive – Women only ride
Sunday 28th July 2019
The supportive event welcomes all ladies, whether just starting out on sportives or who ride them regularly. 30, 60 or 100 miles.
Eroica Britannia – Vintage bike event, Bakewell

A smaller scale event than previous years, with 500 riders
Grindleford Goat – Sportive & Hill Climb

Ladies of the Lake – Women only Sportive
6th-8th October 2019
A mini-festival with events all weekend for riders and their families. Ladies of the Lake is the authentic, friendly, supportive, welcoming event.
